Board Chairs Academy (Class #25) - Full Series
Board Chairs Academy is a six-month online learning and virtual community experience to help board members of charitable organizations, associations and congregations excel at providing strategic governance to their favorite causes.
Board Chairs Academy presents six learning modules associated with evolving a nonprofit board, using a three-part process. Each module begins with a 90-minute online presentation accompanied by a participant guide of handouts, readings and exercises. Concepts are then applied through the completion of specific assignments over a two-week period. Each module concludes with a second 90-minute online session that provides a brief review of the topic, invites discussion about the assignments, and uses small and large group interaction for participants to share their learning.
Organizations may register as many persons as they wish, and the total fee is determined by how many are enrolled. (Registering more people generates a greater savings per person!) Organizational registration also includes two hours of complimentary board consultation, and each participant receives 150 pages of resource materials, access to six Board Chairs Academy Roundtables for additional discussions with other Academy participants, and invitation to a private LinkedIn group.
Individual registration is also available, either for the full series (by clicking the Register button) or for individual modules (by clicking on specific links below). If you are registered for the full series, no separate module registrations are required. For our United States customers, please visit this page to register.

Third Sector Company, Inc. is committed to advancing diversity, inclusion, equity, and access as foundational to its programs. We acknowledge and honor the fundamental value and dignity of all people; and we pledge our individual and organizational efforts to build respect, dignity, caring, and equitable treatment for all. As an organization, we are committed to transforming the world into one that promotes social justice and freedom from oppression, including but not limited to, racism, sexism, classism, heterosexism, ageism, and ableism. Thus, we aim to be adaptable, actively anti-racist, embracing cultural differences, and to be accessible for people who are differently resourced and differently abled. Since we do not want financial hardship to be a barrier to participation, there are several seats reserved in each of our fee-based programs for confidentially awarded scholarships. We encourage those from historically underserved communities to apply.
